Virtual Panel Discussion: Teaching Through a Pandemic

Join us on Thursday, June 18 at 4 p.m. EST for a guided discussion about the experience of teaching through a pandemic. Our panelists represent the College of Education and Human Services and will provide different perspectives on the transition to online learning. Hear their stories, learn about what this means for education post-COVID-19, and ask questions or share your stories.

    Happy Educators Appreciation Week! Get ready for a week filled with appreciation posts as we share stories from our Seton Hall alumni educators. Take part in activities and forums as well to learn and share what you have experienced teaching through the pandemic and how we can prepare for post-COVID learning environments.
  • Tuesday, June 16
    Show your appreciation for a former or current educator. We will prompt you on our social media accounts (@SetonHallAlumni) throughout the day. Do you have an educator you would like to show appreciation for or interested in sharing your story? Complete this form to highlight him/her (or your story) as part of this appreciation week.
  • Wednesday, June 17
    This day is devoted to our alumni parents who are balancing work and helping their children succeed while learning virtually. Take a break and allow us to offer your child projects, storytime and more on our social media channels (@SetonHallAlumni).
  • Thursday, June 18
    It's Throwback Thursday! To our educators – show us a photo of your classroom pre- and post-COVID. To all alumni – share a favorite memory from a class or teacher who has impacted you. And, don't miss our webinar panel, Teaching through a pandemic – our virtual education system today and beyond at 4 p.m. EST.
  • Friday, June 19
    Our Forum Friday theme is an online discussion board for alumni educators to share their experience, difficulties, personal victories, good ideas experienced through virtual education practices. Plus, today we share our summer top ten list of activities to take a break and enjoy some well-deserved time off.
